Regardless of the industry, Millrite Machine has the capabilities and the expertise you’re looking for. While most of our work typically falls within the one-cubic foot range, Millrite Machine can work on items that are nearly microscopic and as large as a 40-inch cube.

We know Quality

Quality systems and procedures at Millrite Machine have been externally certified to ISO 9001:2015 for the “Precision Machining of Components, Assemblies, Tools and Fixtures, and the Manufacturing and Calibration of Tools used for Inspection Purposes”.
Our dedicated QC manager and staff track each work piece, from customer order through each machining process to final inspection. Barcoding streamlines job flow management and makes every piece and process fully traceable – a key advantage for customers with ISO Certification.

Finish Grind Machinist

A successful candidate for our team is:

  • proficient in the set-up and operation of surface/ID/OD grinders and jig bores;
  • comfortable working from blueprints, sketches and/or verbal descriptions and plans;
  • knowledgeable and has a working understanding of geometric tolerances;
  • capable of completing a first piece and in-process inspection using various inspection tools, including but not limited to micrometers, verniers, dial bore gages, indicators, etc.;
  • enthusiastic and a self-starter, willing to work in a team environment with a continuous improvement, continuous learning work ethic;
  • confident working with critical tolerance aerospace parts of several material types, such as 6061-T6, 17-4, 15-5, titanium, etc.;
  • capable of performing their work responsibilities with reasonable accommodations.

Quality Control Inspector

A successful candidate for our team is:

  • detail oriented and capable of performing first piece, in-process and final acceptance inspection of precision components;
  • comfortable using an electronic system to document inspection results and non-conformances;
  • proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook in the business context (JobBOSS experience is a plus);
  • experienced in the use of metrology tools such as micrometers, verniers, indicators, bore gages, height gages, and CMM;
  • enthusiastic and a self-starter, willing to work in a team environment with a continuous improvement, continuous learning work ethic;
  • comfortable reading blueprints and possesses a strong understanding of geometric tolerances;
  • eager to learn and take on additional responsibilities as workload changes;
  • capable of performing their work responsibilities with reasonable accommodations.

Prototrak Lathe Machinist

A successful candidate for our team is:

  • proficient in the set-up, programming and operation of single spindle prototrak lathes;
  • comfortable working from blueprints, sketches and/or verbal descriptions and plans;
  • knowledgeable and has a working understanding of geometric tolerances;
  • capable of completing a first piece and in-process inspection using various inspection tools, including but not limited to micrometers, verniers, dial bore gages, indicators, etc.;
  • enthusiastic and a self-starter, willing to work in a team environment with a continuous improvement, continuous learning work ethic;
  • confident working with critical tolerance aerospace parts of several material types, such as 6061-T6, 17-4, 15-5, etc.;
  • capable of performing their work responsibilities with reasonable accommodations.
